Will the Brown Patches on My Bichon Frise Ever Go Away?

I have a one year old female bichon frise. I heard its normal for pedegree bichons to have parts of their fur light brown. My dog has a brown patch on her back and on each ear. Will it ever go away? Help please! Tanx X

I thought you mean't on her skin which is normal and would go away

as for the fur,if it was going to change,it would of by now,has your dog been groomed, have you looked at the roots of the hair and see it coming in lighter?if its coming in the same colour, chances are,its gonna stay that colour…

Is it brown, brown? Or is it a light almost tanish brown? If it is more of a tan color, it is called "biscuit". Many white dogs are biscuit and it usually does not go away. I would doubt that your dogs will go away since she is already a year old.

Here is an example of biscuit in a white German Shepherd.
