There's a bichon frise/shih tzu mix puppy in my local shelter and it's adorable, but i'm curious what it might look like full grown. i'm aware that appearance may vary because it is a hybrid dog. and please don't just say "search google". i did and i got all puppies. thanks!
It's not a hybrid, That is a mix between two SPECIES. Shih Tzu's and Bichon Frise's are the SAME species but different breeds. They are mutts/mixed breeds, not hybrids. It's probably going to look the same without the puppy fur. It will probably be under 20 pounds and will fill out more to look like an adult dog. I say probably because you could never tell with a mutt.

I don't know where you could find a picture. With mixes it is hard to tell because they don't all look the same.
I have a 2 year old bichon/poodle and she is adorable. I go to the dog park and have met a whole punch of bichon/shih tzu/ etc., mixes and they are all very cute.
How could they not be?

My Pooches Give Smooches is correct. They are not hybrid, they are mixed. Hybrid would be a Husky/wolf. Like you have already said, there is NO way to tell what the puppy would look like later on seeing it is a mix of two diff breeds.
