a bichon frise puppy for sale, registered and not more than 400 – shipped. Any leads? thanks for the help!
Your not going to be able to find one that's going to need to be shipped for under $400. Sorry but you might be able to find a breeder around where you live. Just make sure to check where you get your puppy from out.

Well, "registered" doesn't mean it will be healthy or properly bred. You need to find a reputable breeder. To find out how, go to http://hubpages.com/_ans/hub/ReputableBreeder or do some Googling or something. Don't support backyard breeding and pet overpopulation just because it's "easier".

I am not positive this will work for you, however, I found my AKC Shih Tzu on Craigs List – might give it a try. You can also post "wanted" there.

Do you people even bother searching questions for your own question, before re-asking it?
Dont buy breeders from online. This is a great way to go about supporting puppy mills and back yard breeders.

You will most likely be buying a puppy mill dog at worst and a byb dog at best sight unseen. Some horror stories doing this kind of buying. A reputable breeder does not sell dogs this way and a wise buyer goes to the breeder's home to check out where the pup has been bred and raised. Also to see the parents of your pup. Well bred bichons where the parents have had all necessary testing before breeding cost considerably more than $400.00. Why not go to Petfinder.com and try to find a Bichon Rescue near you? They often have young dogs up for adoption and you will be giving a rescue a good home. Finally registered in what registery? Papers mean nothing if the pup is not carefully bred and raised before you get it.
