since i was little i have always had dogs. i have had one mutt and four pedigrees
(Airedale, bichon frise and boxer and greyhound)
now i hae the greyhound and a mutt
the greyhound is very strange poor thing is a rescue dog. but since i got my mutt a staffy, pit bull dalmation mix i have realised how stupid the pedigrees act!
my buster the mutt is very very clever! he does tricks such as play dead roll over sit plays hide and seek and chases his tail on command and many many more
he also sits at his bowl at 4 which is his dinner time!
he is the best dog i have ever had, very sweet.
however the pedigrees were not as loving (not that they werent but compared to buster not very loving) not as clever and not as easy to train

is this the case with anyone else???
has anyone else got a clever mutt???
what is the smartest pedigree???

Really smart but they don't make the best choices. LOL!

*Rottie/Husky/Lab x-INTELLENGENT Super SMART!!
*Lab-He's OK.
I recommend a Border Colie. They are very smart and I'm getting one. I would never recommend a dog that I don't think's smart!!!

ok long story, bare with me, at the time this had happened, my bichon frise was about 1 and a half years old, he had slipped out of his harness and ran amuck with my father chasing after him. my puppy was running like a mad dog behind our house which has a community park and had run into this woman…

we don't know what happened but my dad heard my pup cry and when he had finally reached the scene and grabbed my pup, the lady was going crazy saying HE BIT ME HE BIT ME and there was no blood or anything. my dad said he saw her dumbells on the floor(i guess she threw them at my dog causing him to cry)

now before all this, my dad and this lady had run into each other, her dog started barking at my dog, and then my dog barked back and she told my dad, why dont you train your dog! and my dad got mad and said what did you just say? and she started to walk away, my dad followed her and said what did you say to me! and she turns around and says go back to your country! (we're asian but my dads been in the army and he's pretty americanized)

my dad blew a fuse and said excuse me don't talk to me that way! and the lady ran off.

ok so back to the story, the lady called the police, we got a citation, animal control came, we had to keep the dog inside for 10 days to make sure he had no rabies. later we get a statement and the police come and oh my god does her story sound RIDICULOUS!

she lies the whole time saying that my puppy chased her ALL the way back to her house which is pretty far and that my dad had RAN all the way over to HER house and so many other lies saying how she's BRUISED and she tore all her muscles etc etc now my dog is a 10lb dog, she has a big dog. how can she walk her dog then??

so we got smacked with a 100$ fine for no leash and a 500$ fine for assault.

my question is, do you think we have a chance in court? she has no evidence and no witnesses nothing. the "pictures" were taken by her husband, which i must mention came all the way to our house with their sons to harass my dad.

oh yeah, my mom and i went to go and apologize to the lady and the whole time she just yelled at us, i asked her about the racist remark and she yelled more saying I SAID GO BACK HOME! which is complete BS, how can someone get home and country mixed up?
lol and one more thing, i've seen a confederate flag hanging in their garage one time.
apologies on the confederate flag comment, also we're good friends with our attorney, he isn't going to charge us.
i actually had a tape recorder in my purse while she was yelling at us but i don't think that's legal so probably not gonna bring that up in court.

you can take it to court and it would probably get thrown out, but you will incur lawyer fees and court costs. They will probably be more expensive then just paying the citations and letting it go. If they are truly racists then they are not worth an apology. Also a confederate flag dosn't make someone racist.
