Some Delicacies You Can Cook For Your Bichon Frise
Who
does not enjoy cooking for their family, friends, and other loved ones? For some
aspiring chefs, trying out new recipes in the kitchen is the cat’s meow. Or the
dog’s bark. Holidays are especially wonderful for these people; they turn into
baking machines, spewing out batches of cookies, brownies, and other treats. You
care for your Bichon Frise companion as much as your friends, and would love to
be able to make something special for your dear pet.
A Bichon Frise’s care
and well-being must always be the priority above yummy treats and meals. You do
not want to overindulge and spoil your pet to the risk of their health. Anything
is good in moderate. Except catnip. But that is for cats, so you’re still good.
You can easily find wholesome recipes that can still take care of your Bichon
Frise pup’s sweet tooth.
Yummy Goodness
1) Cold Paws: give your
Bichon Frise’s cares and hot spells the boot with these tasty, easy to make treat.
Blend together one large container of vanilla yogurt, one banana, and 3/4 cup
water. Pour into small paper cups, cover and freeze.
2) Dog Nog: make this
during holiday seasons, or any season you deem “nog” worthy. Beat one egg yolk
and one tablespoon of sugar together until well blended. Add one cup of milk,
stir for a few more minutes before serving. Make sure you completely separate
the egg white from the yolk; a dog’s digestive system has a hard time breaking
down the raw white of the egg. This is sure to be a favorite of your loved and
cared for Bichon Frise!
3) Bowl of Yum: this is a quick, special snack
for your very special, very caring Bichon Frise. In a small dish, combine a handful
of wet or dry dog food with three crumbled up dog treats of your choice. Top this
little concoction with a large dollop of peanut butter and spread it evenly over
the top of the mixture. Pop that bad boy in the fridge for about ten minutes if
your pup likes chilled treats.
4) Nanna Butter Frosting: use this yummy
frosting on milk bones and other treats to put a smile on your pup’s face. You
will need 1 ½ bananas, six tablespoons of peanut butter, and ½ tablespoon
of brown sugar. Mash the banana up until it is creamy, then add the peanut butter
and brown sugar. Stir until all the ingredients are well blended.
Once
you have finished spoiling your dog with yummy homemade dog treats, it is time
to spoil him by grooming
your Bichon Frise.
